Monthly meetings with programs and opportunities to socialize The Geneagram online newsletter, featuring genealogy articles, an event calendar, and the latest news on genealogy topics. Free genealogy classes on a variety of topics, presented by the CCGS Education Committee. Visit the website to see the current class schedule. Research assistance in the Genealogy Room of the Mid-County Regional Library. The genealogy collection includes over 3,000 books, periodicals, family histories, and other genealogical materials. The room is staffed by CCGSI volunteers who are ready to assist those who visit the room. Website at Lots of information on events, membership, the newsletter, and helpful research links. Occasional in-depth presentations by nationally known speakers. A publicly-searchable surname list with anonymous contact opportunities. A great chance for you to get involved! You can volunteer to help with abstracting records, cataloguing obituaries, leadership, library assistance, programs, special events, the speaker’s bureau, special focus groups, and more.
